Promoting Awareness

SUBMIT: 300x250_live_life_pass_it_on_Eva.jpgRE/MAX of Western Canada is making progress in its pursuit to raise awareness for the need of donor registrations across our region. For the past seven years RE/MAX has spread the word through paid advertising and social media messages supporting the Canadian Society of Transplantation’s National Organ Donor Awareness Week. In the month of April we are running, “Josh is still waiting” commercials in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In BC, we are supporting The BC Transplant Society’s campaign, LIVE LIFE. PASS IT ON.

The LIVE LIFE. PASS IT ON. campaign builds on the movement of 23-year-old Canadian Eva Markvroot, the late double lung transplant recipient, who created with organ donation through her blog and the film, 65_RedRoses. The campaign is an extension of her passion to make a difference and forms part of a legacy she hoped would inspire the public to take action to register.
